Mine was stressful, mostly. As usual. I can't seem to get myself into the "Christmas spirit." Ever. It feels like just another day. Which saddens me. Because it ought to be different. For some reason I can "feel" holidays that serve as memorials to sacrifice. Not so much the "happy" holidays.

<feels foolish> I recently realized I had never considered the origin of the phrase X-mas. It is not in fact leaving the Christ out of Christmas. Rather, X is Chi, the greek letter that Christ begins with. So rather it would be equated to saying C-mas which is a mere abbreviation. Just thought I would make it known rather than keeping it to myself...
