Even as I type this, Israel is showing the rest of the world how to deal with people that murder your family and threaten your children.
"Israeli war planes carried out at least 50 raids across Lebanon on Thursday, including on Beirut airport, a day after the killing of eight Israeli soldiers and the capture of two by Hezbollah guerrillas." -Yahoo! News
Shutting down Beirut stops weapons movement and terrorist transportation.
"The United States vetoed a UN draft resolution that would have called for an end to Israeli attacks and "disproportionate use of force" in the Gaza Strip as well as for the release of a kidnapped Israeli soldier." -BreitBart.com
Thank you Commander-in-Chief and sidekicks! Good start! I think I'll go into Mortal Kombat lines to describe what kind of opportunity this is for us on totaling these terrorists once and for all:
FINISH HIM!!!
Yea, that's right. I'm asking why our bombers, fighters, and ground troops aren't on immediate mobilization to wipe out these folks alongside Israel. We've got an ally, are we loyal or is this nation made up of as spineless leaders and as spineless a majority to elect them as I'm afraid it must be?

Uhm....as tempting as it is to join Israel, we can't. Doing so would face internal revolution and external chaos. We're riding a pitifully intricate balance as it is. There is more to the workings of the world than who lives and who dies, the right and the wrong. Politics is an unfortunate part of the modern world. Think about it...we join Israel blatantly in their fight. Now everyone against Israel joins the fight against us. You have the makings of a flash-point for World War Three. Tempting as that sounds, most people don't like the idea.

Haven't I heard you (and rightly) say that most people lack basic judgement as well as intelligence?

I should hope that our President is not one of those.

Yes. And it's true. The unfortunate part is that those same "most people" are those who, in the end, decide how things will be for our nation.

Which is why France still exists, Iran/Iraq are not territories of the US, etc. etc.

More or less. Has anyone else been keeping up with the debates and speculations started by this morning's missile assault?
The important thing to realize is that we are on the brink of World War Three. If any of the powerful nations let their hand be forced, we will topple over and it will get ugly. Waiting for the opportune moment is imperitive...
