Chris Rice wrote a beautiful song titled My Prayer. It has embodied my attitude throughout several rough times.
"Fresh page, new pen Where do I begin? Words fail, tears come I need someone... To take the thoughts I almost think And carry them to God for me.
Deep breath, exhale Breathe in deeper still Long sigh, I'm still numb Is there anyone... Who can find the things I'm barely feeling And give them wings beyond my ceiling
Right heart, wrong place It's too far to outer space Sorry, I forgot, you're right here.."

Hmm... Very true. There's a song by Pillar called "Simply." The chorus goes thus:
"You simply love Despite all the stupid things I've done It's hard to remember That You simply love."

Another Chris Rice song, called "Spare an Angel"...kind've exemplifies my struggle with certain people...
"Found her staring at the rain, And askin' why it has to hurt So bad. Where's the limit to the pain Her heart can take before it breaks In half? I wanted to be strong enough to hold her To show her the way But now she's so far out of reach That now all I can do is pray.
Can you spare an angel in the night, Send a little help from your side 'Cuz somebody's lost down here Let him wing his way through the dark Carry some fo your love into her heart Can you spare an angel? Spare an angel? Spare an angel?
She wanders further in the dark, Feels the cold, hears the Thunder cry. And the rain keeps pourin' down Her only answer from the Lonely sky. She has no idea how much you love her, Or how much you care, So would you choose one of your best To be the answer to my prayers?
<chorus> Oh, I don't know what else to pray this time Maybe an angel can lead her lonesome heart away To Jesus' side..."

True True.
Some country song I heard the other day:
"What if she's an angel Sent here from heaven And she's makin' sure that We're doin' our best To take the time to help one another Brother are we gonna pass that test? You can go on With your day-to-day And try to forget What you saw in her face But what if she's an angel?"

I like the song by MercyMe called Here Am I from Almost There. I don't know if anybody's heard it. It's a song about how many people all around you aren't Christian. It's really cool. I also like House of God. -Blader

Hmm.... I don't recall that I've heard either of those songs.... then again, the only MercyMe I hear is what they play on the radio. Not incredibly substantial.

I like Sunny Days by Jars of Clay. It goes like this,
Sunny days keepin' the clouds away/ I think we're coming to a clearing and a brighter day.
So far away. Still I think they say/ The wait will make the heart grow stonger or fonder/ I can't quite remeber anyway
So If you're waitin' for love/ Well it's a promise I'll keep/ If you don't mind believing that it changes everything/ Then time will never matter
Winter, Spring... is what love can truly bring/ Ice turns to water, water flows to everything/ You can lose your mind, maybe then your heart you'll find/ I hope you won't give up what's movin' you inside
So If you're waitin' for love/ Well it's a promise I'll keep/ If you don't mind believing that it changes everything/ Then time will never matter
If the car won't start, when you turn the key/ When the music comes on, all your cold, cold heart can do is skip a beat.
It's a promise I'll keep/ When you're waitin' for love/ If you don't mind believing that it changes everything/ Then time will never matter

All good songs, in their own right.
"Masquerade Paper faces on parade Masquerade Hide your face so the world will never find you..."

By the way, what radio stations do you guys listen to? There's a Christian station in New York that I listen to.... But they play pop and other such deplorable types of music. There are a couple of on-line stations that I listen to.... They play rock! ;D

I listen to the same as Alameth. I also listen to a country station out of Rochester. I've given up on radio, though. I just listen to the CD's. I can't find any good Christian rock stations.

in a field of yellow flowers underneath the sun bluest eyes that spark with lightning boy with shoes undone he is young, so full of hope reveling in tiny dreams filling up his arms with flowers right for giving any queen running to her, beaming bright while cradling his prize a flickering of yellow light within his mother's eyes she holds them to her heart keeping them where they'll be safe clasped within her very marrow dandelions in a vase
she sees love where anyone else would see weeds all hope is found, here is everything he needs
fathomless Your endless mercy weight i could not lift where do i fit in this puzzle? what good are these gifts? not a martyr or a saint scarcley can i struggle through all that i have ever wanted was to give my best to You
Lord search my heart create in me something clean ...dandelions... You see flowers in these weeds
gently lifting hands to heaven softened by the sweetist hush a Father sings over His children loving them so very much more than words could warrant deeper than the darkest blue more than sacrifice could merit Lord, i give my heart to you
Lord search my heart create in me something clean ...dandelions... You see flowers in these weeds
