My dad quotes Solomon:"There is nothing new under the sun..." no offence, but I think I've heard that song somewhere else before. Send me the TAB if you can and I'll see, or ask A. I might have heard it, but maybe not.

See Solomon's quote, never mind. Remember that story about a girl in One Acord, or one of those, she "wrote" a song, but it was in a hymnal or somewere. that's my point.

I'll choose to ignore you from now on, I think.

I don't care about the story about this poor dissillusioned child who writes songs in hymnals! My song is original! (Besides, the odds are against me on that one. It would be extremely difficult to originally write an un-original song)

Yeah just a bit.

No! the song she wrote was in the hymnal before she wrote it. She basicaly copied it from her head but forgot where she heard it.

I am very much relieved that this debate is over...
Don't you hate it when people who are trying to argue a point don't listen to a word you say? It's like trying to attack a brick wall with a plastic bowl full of pudding.

I like your song as well, steel_lily. And your analogy in the last post was...original.

I thought so...
And thank you. It's not done, blast it!

I just have to be different.

You are different, lass... "Around the bend" as you so concisely put it...

True. But that means you must be different as well. which you are, in a good way.

True. And some days I am 'around the bend' as well.

Glad to be back. The other side of the bend is a scary place to be.

Aye, that it is.... You know, I've been wandering around all day with a Scottish accent... Not that it bothers me in particular, but my so-called "friends" have been giving me weird looks....

Ahh, yes. "Friends". They would do that. Actual friends usually know you well enough not to even bother. They might even join in. All "friends" will do is pretend to enjoy your company....your business makes good conversation for them, you know.
